In order to ensure a smooth and efficient arrival, we advise you to browse our website for crucial information that you need to know before landing at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam.
High-value items brought into the United Republic of Tanzania manufactured overseas must be declared on arrival. Passengers with imported goods that have exceeded the duty-free allowance and those who have cash exceeding the allowable amount should go directly to the customs Control desk where the Customs Officer in attendance will inform of the procedures to follow and/or payments to be made. Passengers who do not have anything to declare should line up and pass through the final security check before proceeding to the Exit Door and Arrival Lobby.
